    London Gripping After Knife Attack

    London, United Kingdom–Police responded to a stabbing near the London Bridge at 1:58 p.m. on Friday. Officers quickly shot the suspect to end the attack. The suspect, 28-year-old Usman Khan, was convicted in 2012 for terrorism-related offenses. During a press conference, AC Neil Basu with Metropolitan Police Service stated, “Tragically, two people, a man and a woman, were killed during the attack. Three others, a man and two women, were also injured and remain in hospital.” Police are in the early stages of the investigation and, at this time, are not actively seeking anyone else in relation to the attack.
