The Arkansas Razorbacks started off the first inning as the visitor and plated 2 runs thanks to a 2 run homer by Dominic Fletcher that drove in Casey Martin after his 1 out single. Ole Miss responded in the bottom of the 1st with a 3 run homer by Cole Zabowski to right field.

In the 2nd inning Ole Miss added another 5 runs. It started with a solo homer down the right field line by Cooper Johnson. After that, the bases were loaded on a fielder’s choice and 2 walks. Tyler Keenan tripled off the center field wall that cleared the bases. Ryan Olenek drove Keenan in a few batters later to make it 8-2.

Arkansas did show some fight in the 4th inning with 3 runs with a Jacob Nesbit single who was driven in by a Trevor Ezell double. Martin doubled to drive in Ezell and Goodheart doubled to drive in Martin. All 3 runs were scored with 2 outs.

In the bottom of the 6th, Ole Miss responded with 3 runs. Keenan hit a solo homer to right field. Zabowski, Kevin Graham and Cooper Johnson all singled to load the bases then Anthony Servideo singled to drive in 2 runs before the Hogs could get out of the inning. That put Ole Miss up 11-5 at this point.

Ole Miss added 2 more runs in the 7th for good measure with Thomas Dillard getting aboard on a 5 pitch walk followed with a Grae Kessinger homer over left field. That was Kessinger’s 2nd homer in 2 days.

Arkansas finished with 5 runs on 12 hits and stranding 9 while Ole Miss had 13 runs on 12 hits and left 7 runners on base. Arkansas pitcher Connor Noland earned the loss while Ole Miss pitcher Doug Nikhazy earned the win and Houston Roth got the save. Announced attendance was 11,383.
