Memphis, Tennessee–Dustin Johnson finished his round on Sunday with a spectacular 170 yards Eagle on Hole 18 which allowed Johnson to secure the win at the FedEx St. Jude Classic and reclaim the No. 1 ranking in golf. The tournament was played at TPC Southwind on June 7 – 10 in front of thousands of fans in person and millions watching from home. Our affiliate Tennessee Gazette asked Johnson during the press conference following his win what he thought about bringing the shot clock to the PGA Tour. Johnson replied, “It wouldn’t bother me…. That’s what we ought to be doing.” The FedEx Jude Classic raised money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital which focuses on children with cancer, blood disorders and other related life-threatening diseases.
