Ultra Runners Spend The Day Running In The Ouachita Trail 50 Endurance Run

Little Rock, Arkansas–Ultra runners woke up early  for the 28th running of the Ouachita Trail 50 Endurance Run. The race started at 6 a.m. on Saturday at Maumelle Park campground in Pulaski County. Runners had the choice of a 50-miler or a 50k race. They ran through parts of the Ouachita National Recreation Trail and Pinnacle Mountain State Park and ended back at the park. Around 200 people signed up for today’s challenging race. Ham radio operators with C.A.R.E.N. Club helped organizers keep track of runners through the whole day.
