Washington, Arkansas—The 50th annual Jonquil Festival attracted people from around the country to the Historic Washington State Park for food, fun and music. The Jonquil Festival marks the beginning of spring in the South and runs over three days. Over 6500 people came to the park for the Jonquil Festival on Saturday, according to Brandon Owen, Park Superintendent of the Historic Washington State Park. Tomorrow the festival will open at 9 a.m. and go until 4 p.m.
