Wanda Gail Ratliff, 69, of Conway went to be with the Lord, September 17, 2016. She was born November 30, 1946 in Heber Springs to Howard Lawrence Williams and Mildred “Nanny” Anett White Williams Anderson. Wanda was a Godly Lady saved in 1969 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She graduated from Weatherford College in 1983 with a degree in nursing, and was a LPN. Wanda retired from the state, and worked at the V.A. Hospital and CHDC. She loved animals, gardening, wood working, and cooking, but most of all she loved her family. Wanda was famous for her chocolate fried pies, coconut cream pies, beans, and chocolate gravy.
She is survived by her children: Jina Ratliff (David) Winston of Conway, Bo (Kim Tinder) Ratliff of Conway, Tim “Skeeter” Ratliff of Conway, and Billy Joe (Donna Romine) Ratliff of Vilonia; 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, sister Beverly Spikes of Mayflower and brother Tony Anderson of Jacksonville, her fur baby Dixie, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Wanda is preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Pastor Jim L. Ratliff, her parents, and brother Marty Williams.
Visitation will be Friday September 23, 2016 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway at 9:00 and is for family only. Funeral Service for the public will start at 10:00AM Friday with Burial following at Mayflower Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital in Memphis, TN.
